Pack 1 News

July 23, 2023

Pack 1 Scouts attended the 2023 Cub Scout Resident Camp, held at Rotary Scout Reservation.  Our scouts had an absolutely wonderful time fishing, hiking, swimming, canoeing, bouldering, and shooting! We can't wait to go back next summer!

June 3, 2023

Pack 1 celebrated another year of scouting! Family and friends gathered as the scouts went through the Scout Oath before crossing over to their next rank. After, a delicious pot luck was enjoyed by all. Congratulations Scouts! Special thanks to family and friends in attendance. The leadership couldn't do it without your continued support!

May 27, 2023

Our Cub Scouts marched with Troop 1's Boy Scouts in the annual Village of Ballston Spa's Memorial Day Parade.

March 18, 2023

The Blue and Gold Ceremony-We all came together to celebrate our accomplishments throughout the year and to congratulate our two AOL den members on crossing over into Troop 1.

January 28, 2023

Our Cub Scouts and families spent the afternoon at Camp Wakpominee today for a super fun day of sledding, hiking and food!  Thanks to everyone who joined us.  The weather could not have been more perfect, even if Mother Nature prevented us from getting out on the ice.  On the bright side, think of how much bigger all those fish are getting!

Every year,  the Scouts and families of Pack 1 get together for our annual holiday and ugly sweater party.  The sweaters this year were AMAZING, and we enjoyed cookies, hot chocolate, games and a gift swap.  Thanks to everyone who joined us!

The holidays are such a special time of year, and we love being able to spend time with all of our extended Blue and Gold family!

Pictured to the right is one of our brand new Wolves, Mikey, and his father Drew making some shaving cream and cornstarch snow!

THIRTY TWO!

That's how many racecars were built by our Cub Scouts for our annual LEGO Derby!  The Scouts and families of Pack 1 came together at BACC to see who had built the fastest car.  Medals were awarded to the top three finishers in each den, and the three fastest racers in the Pack also took home the gold, silver or bronze medals.

We made a lot of changes to the way we ran the race this year,  and we think it made for an even more enjoyable day of racing.

Congratulations to all of our champions, but remember, you're all winners in our book!

Every year, Scouts from Cub Scout Pack 1 and Scouts BSA Troop 1 participate in  "Scouting for Food".  For those who don't know, Scouting for Food is a national Scouting movement in which Scouts collect non-perishable food from the community, and then donate the food to their local food pantries, where it will be given to local families in need.   In 2021, we set a new record for our units and our goal was to exceed that record this year.

Well, you guys made it look so easy!  This year, we collected nearly 3,100 pounds of food to help our neighbors who may be battling with food insecurity.

While we're incredibly proud to participate in such a worthy service project for our community, the number of Scouts who told us that Scouting for Food is one of their favorite activities of the year was truly heartwarming.

Pictured are Danny and Jacob, members of our Arrow of Light den.

Well done, Scouts!

October 22, 2022

Scouts and families from Pack 1 had a fun afternoon of games and trick or treating during our annual Halloween Spooktacular.  Once again, our blue and gold family came together and came up with some VERY creative and awesome costumes.

Well done everyone!

October 2, 2022

Scouts and families from Pack 1 braved the chilly weather for a super fun weekend of camping at Rotary Scout Reservation.  Despite the cold, we had so much fun building film canister rockets, kites, launching a real rocket, and painting watercolors with famous artist Rob Boss.

Fortunately, the campfire was able to keep us all nice and toasty as we enjoyed our cheers and skits.

Camping is such a quintessential Scouting experience, and thank you to everyone involved.

September 10, 2022

What an awesome day for Pack 1 today was!  Early in the morning, Scouts from Pack 1 handed out water to runners participating in the Malta 5k race!  What fun it was to watch these athletes wake up and run so fast to make sure they stay "physically strong"!  (See?  The Scout Oath is everywhere!

Then we headed over to Malta Community Day with the Council's awesome inflatable archery range and talked to SOOO many families about Scouting.  If you're one of them, be sure to check out our New Family Information Night on September 13th at 6:00 PM at Shenantaha Creek Park.  There will be five stations to explore Scouting and get your questions answered.  It should only take about 30 minutes to get through them all.

To the left, Pat (Wolf) and Danny (Arrow of Light) wait for the next round of runners.

Scouting is such a wonderful program, and we love sharing it with so many of you.  Hope to see you there!

September 2, 2022

Our fall recruiting campaign is underway, and we've met so many amazing families interested in joining Cub Scouts.  We hope that you'll find the same value in Scouting that we all do, and we look forward to having you become part of our Blue and Gold Family.

For those of you who are new, check out our New Family Guide on our home page.

Don't forget to stop by our booth at Malta Community Day on September 10th  and our New Parent Information Night on September 13th at 6:00 PM.  Both events are being held at Shenantaha Creek Park.

August 29, 2022

Huge news from Pack 1!  This year, Twin Rivers Council is participating in the national "Family Den" pilot program, which means for the first time ever, Pack 1 is welcoming both boys AND girls to our outstanding program!  We are so excited to share our love of Scouting with your daughters and sisters.  They're going to have a blast!

July 28, 2022

Pack 1 Scouts attended the 2022 Cub Scout Resident Camp, held this year at Rotary Scout Reservation.  Scouts braved the heat and had an absolutely wonderful time while making new friends and learning some awesome new skills that they'll take with them for the rest of their lives!

July 16, 2022

Scouts from Pack 1 and their families got together at Shenantaha Creek Park and played the first annual Pack 1 Flag Football game.  In a super close matchup, the yellow team defeated the blue team 6-0.

All players had a great time, despite the heat, and they learned a bit about how to play football and work together as a team .  This is an event we will  definitely  bring back in the future!

June 12, 2022

Wow, Pack 1!  Our campouts are always fun, but it seems like every trip gets better and better!  We went fishing, painted kindness rocks, went on a scavenger hunt, learned some survival knots, played Gagaball, hiked around the lake, learned how to make and use a sundial, retired a worn American flag and had our campfire program.  This was such an amazing weekend.  The number of fish you all caught was beyond impressive!

Thank you to all of our adult Scouters who made this weekend possible.  If you haven't taken a moment to watch Mr. Carver's AWESOME video highlights, definitely do so!

This has been such an exciting year, and we're looking forward to diving into our summer program before kicking it all off again in the fall!

May 28, 2022

The Cub Scouts and Scouters of Pack 1 were so honored to be part of the annual Ballston Spa Memorial Day Parade.  Citizenship and duty to others is such an important part of Scouting, and to be able to honor our nation's fallen heroes meant so much to everyone involved.  Even the Mayor wanted a photo with our Scouts!

May 14, 2022

Special thanks to the folks at Moreau Lake State Park for allowing our Scouts to come in and visit the nature center where they learned about all sorts of awesome critters that live in our own back yards!

We learned about insects and mammals, fish and reptiles.  We're so lucky to live in this part of the world!

March 23, 2022

On Wednesday, March 23, Scouts from Pack 1 had the unique opportunity to tour the Saratoga County Sheriff's Office.  Our Scouts met with Deputy Jasmin and learned about the patrol side of law enforcement, then got a private tour of the Saratoga County 911 Center with our Cubmaster, Mr. Kelly, who is also a Desk Officer with the Saratoga County Sheriff's Office.  They learned about how 911 calls are processed and handled, and all of the things that happen behind the scenes during an emergency.  They even got to see live 911 calls coming in and being dispatched.  This was definitely a super fun trip for everyone involved!

May 5, 2022

Mr. Shorkey and our awesome Tiger Den took advantage of a beautiful spring evening and had a bike rodeo, where the Scouts learned the importance of properly wearing a helmet, the correct use of hand signals, and other bicycle safety tips!

March 13, 2022

The Scouts and Scouters of Pack 1 are honored to have received the 2021-2022 Journey to Excellence Gold Award.  The Journey to Excellence is a program that rates a unit in eleven different areas including trained leadership, outdoor opportunities, community service, advancement rates, recruiting and more.  Each area of focus is given a score, and a unit can earn the Bronze, Silver or Gold Level.

Pack 1 has only received the Journey to Excellence 16 times in our 62 years, and not since 2016, so we are exceptionally proud to have awarded this patch to all of our Scouts and Scouters.  If you weren't at the banquet, we will get you your patch to sew on your right sleeve as soon as possible!

March 12, 2022

Our annual Blue and Gold Banquet was a tremendous success.  Our Scouts received awards, played games, sang songs, cheered, and ate delicious food!  What a joy it was to have all of our families together for a celebration of Scouting.  A special treat was the announcement that Pack 1's Scouts and Scouters had all achieved the Gold Level Journey to Excellence award.  This is truly a testament to the strength of our program and the dedication of all who make it run.

In addition, the 14 Cub Scouts whose fundraising efforts qualified them to throw a pie in our Cubmaster's face all got to do so.

On top of all that, a special congratulations goes out to our Arrow of Light Den who are completing this stage of their journey along the Scouting Trail and are moving up to the Troops as part of Scouts BSA!

We would also like to thank Tiger dad and amazing photographer, Mr. Gurtler for his fantastic Pack 1 portrait!

What a fun afternoon!

March 5, 2022

Scouts from Pack 1 participated in the annual wreath clean-up at the Gerald B. H. Solomon National Cemetery in Schuylerville today.  This is the "back half" of the national "Wreaths Across America" program that places wreaths on veteran grave sites at our nation's national cemeteries to honor those who have protected our country.

The wreaths were collected, then donated to area goat farms, where they are recycled as goat food.

Here is Ryan, one of our Arrows of Light, in one of his final events before crossing over to Troop 1!

This is such a special program, and we are proud to be able to be a part of it.

February 23, 2022

We recently learned of a local family who lost all of their belongings in a devastating house fire.   Because Scouts are loyal, helpful, friendly, courteous and kind, a last minute call was sent out for donations to help this family during their very challenging time.  Because of our amazing Scouts and their families, we put together an incredible collection of clothing, housewares, books and toys, and today, we presented it to them.

Whenever the need arises, We know that we can depend on the incredible Scouts and families of Pack 1 to take care of someone in need.  We hope you are all as proud of yourselves as we are of you.

Strong work, Pack 1.

February 14, 2022

In typical Pack 1 fashion,  our Scouts certainly didn't disappoint at the Pinewood Derby!  With one of our largest fields of racers EVER, we watched dozens of cars zip down the track at breathtaking speed.  The cars you all built were also quite impressive visually. (Photos to come soon!)

Thank you to everyone who helped make this year's race possible.  The Pinewood Derby is one of the most iconic events in all of Scouting, and we look forward to it every year.

We would also like to send a special thank you to everyone who donated to the local family in need of clothing and other items.  You all certainly proved that a Scout is kind and helpful!

January 29, 2022

Thank you so much to everyone who joined us for a fun day of games and outdoor activities at Camp Wakpominee.  We wish we could have had our usual campout, but it was still a fantastic day on the ice!

For those who missed it, Mr. Kelly was selected as the 2021 Turning Point District Cubmaster of the Year!  This is such a tremendous honor for our Pack, as our district includes 67 different units, and to receive this award, you must be nominated and then voted on.  It is also the first time in our 62 year history that our Cubmaster has received this award.

Mr. Kelly says of the award, "The certificate has my name on it, but this award is genuinely the result of the hard work and dedication that our Pack Committee and leaders have put in.  We have an absolutely amazing program, and while I'm honored to have been named Cubmaster of the Year, I am equally as honored to work beside such fantastic volunteers."

Here is Liam, one of our Bears, jigging for fish on the frozen lake.

January 9, 2022

After discussion amongst our Pack Committee, we have decided to change the plan for our Winter Campout.  Instead of camping out, we will instead have a day trip full of fun winter activities at Camp Wakpominee.

We understand that this is a disappointment to many, including all of us, but our primary responsibility is to protect the health and safety of our Scouts and their families, so out of an abundance of caution, we made this difficult decision.

We will put together a revised itinerary, and share it as soon as possible.  Thank you so much for your understanding!

December 11, 2021

Thank you to everyone who came out to our annual holiday party and Bear carnival!  A special thanks to Mrs. Kelly and the Bear Den for providing such awesome carnival games for everyone to enjoy!  We all definitely had a great time!

We did also hand out this year's official "Class B" activity shirt, so if you didn't get yours, be sure to reach out to your leader and let them know!

Pictured is Ben, one of our Tigers, showing off his balloon ears.

Best holiday wishes to everyone in our Blue and Gold family.  Stay healthy!

November 20, 2021

It's LEGO Derby time!  Pack 1 Scouts made some of the most amazing racecars we've ever seen!  They were so fast!  Congratulations to all of our Den winners and championship winners (listed below)!  This was such a fun afternoon for Pack 1, and we're proud and each and every one of you.  We'd like to thank all of our absolutely AMAZING Scouters for their help in putting the race on, as well as the Ballston Spa Elks Lodge #2619 for their incredible hospitality.  We absolutely loved the space they provided and we're excited to have more events there in the future!

You guys are ROCK STARS!  Our goal this year, between Troop 1 and Pack 1, was to collect 2,000 pounds of food.  Food is still being collected and weighed, but as of this afternoon, we had already collected and weighed more than 2,800 pounds of food that was donated for the food pantry.  That's almost 1.5 tons of food that will be available for the neighbors in our communities who may need some help during the holiday season.

In addition, the Cub Scouts of Pack 1 put together several "Birthdays in a Bag" for the children in our community who may not be able to have a birthday party.  This was a super special project that Pack 1 worked on and because of your hard work, there are several local children this year who will be able to at least have a cake and get a birthday card, and that is something that we are very proud of.

November 6, 2021

Are you Scouting for Food?  Since 1985, Scouting for Food has been a national campaign for our Scouts to collect food for our nation's food pantries.

1 out of 4 people in the United States struggle with food insecurity.  Imagine not knowing when your next meal will come or where it will come from.  Our Scouts are making a direct impact in that statistic by collecting food for our local food pantry.  This food will be distributed to our neighbors in need, and I can not thank you enough for participating.

Our goal for 2021 is one ton of food, and I have no doubt that we can attain that goal.  We've done it in the past, so I'm sure we'll do it this year!  Thank you to each and every one of you who distributed fliers today.  Next Saturday we'll go back to the neighborhoods we visited today and collect food that people have donated.  Let's make 2021 the best year ever!

November 2, 2021

Thank you so much to everyone who joined us for our 2021 Halloween Spooktacular!  We saw some absolutely amazing costumes, and you guys had a blast!  Thanks to everyone who helped put this party together, and we hope you are all brushing your teeth!  A Scout is clean, right?

On Saturday, November 6, we will start our Scouting for Food Campaign, so check your emails!

October 20, 2021

Breaking news!  We've been given the green light to resume having our Den Meetings at the United Methodist Church!  The same precautions will be in place - please wear a mask, keep distant, and if you or anyone else in your house is feeling unwell, stay home and take care of yourself.  It's been a long time since we've been able to meet in the Church, and we're excited to get back to it.

Please keep an eye on your emails for details from your Den Leaders as we'll be starting to move over there soon!

October 8, 2021

Were you with us at the Moreau Lake State Park Observatory?  We saw Jupiter and some of its moons, the rings of Saturn, and learned some really cool facts about planets, moons, stars and many of the other things that are in the universe.  It's hard to believe that we can see something 883,000,000 miles away!

October 3, 2021

Wow...just wow.  You guys made our fall campout absolutely amazing.  We can't even begin to fully express how incredible our weekend was, and we could tell that you were all having an amazing time.  We are so truly, sincerely blessed to have such amazing Scouts and families as part of our Blue and Gold family.

Thank you to each and every Scout, Scouter and parent who made this weekend as beautiful as it was.  I hope I can express how much I appreciate every little bit of help that you all offered.  Planning for a group this size can be intimidating, but you all made it easy.  I can't wait until our next campout!

Check out our Photo Gallery  for some of our favorite photos from the weekend!

September 18, 2021

We are over the moon by how many people turned out for our Back to the Pack Ice Cream Social and Popcorn Kickoff!  It was so amazing to get our Scouts back together for an afternoon of fun and meet all of our new Scout families!

Even though it rained for a short time, we all had a lot of fun getting to see everyone.  Thank you to all of the Scouters who stepped up to help out, and our new parents who didn't hesitate to lend a hand.

Don't forget to check out the Events  page of the website for all of the active RSVPs and invitations.  We'll continue to send them directly to you, but in the event you need to locate an invitation quickly, they'll be right there for you.

To our new Scouts and families, understand that the leadership of Pack 1 is fully committed to providing your entire family a fun and educational experience, but most importantly, a safe one.  We're confident that your journey along the Scouting trail will be full of adventure, and we're glad you're here.

September 14, 2021

I was looking at the email inbox today, and there are soooo many responses to the event invitations we have been sending out!  I love it, but it made me think about how you all must feel getting bombarded with RSVP requests.  (Sorry!)

To make things easier for you, we've decided to post all of our active RSVPs on our "Events" page here on the website.  We'll still continue to send them to you via email, but in the event one gets accidentally misplaced, you can always know that we will have the link available for you here on the site.

We've also posted links to the Pack 1 New Scout Welcome Guide, the Youth Application, and the Adult Application, so if you ever need a copy of any of those, they'll also be available.  They can be found on our homepage.

September 11, 201

What a beautiful day we had for the Town of Malta Community Day!  We are so grateful for all of the Scouts and parents who came and helped us at our booth, and it felt so good to be out in the community sharing Scouting with people.  We talked to a whole bunch of great folks, and we hope that they'll decide to join our Blue and Gold family this year!

Coming up next is our Back to the Pack Ice Cream Social on Saturday, September 18th at 3:30 PM at Shenentaha Creek Park.  This event is open to both new and recurring Scouts, as well as anyone considering becoming part of our Pack, so be sure to join us for a delicious kickoff to the new Scouting year.

After that is our annual fall campout at Camp Wakpominee from Friday, October 1 to Sunday October 3rd.  Our campouts are always so much fun, and we hope you can make it!

September 1, 2021

Thank you so much to everyone who stopped by and checked out our booth at the Gordon Creek PTA Back to School BBQ!  Special thanks to the Gordon Creek PTA for making it happen, and to all of the Scouts who joined us and helped share our enthusiasm about Scouting in Pack 1!

For those of you who visited, THANK YOU!  We sincerely hope you decide to start your Scout's journey along the Cub Scout Trail with Pack 1.

You can always email us with any questions or comments you may have at Pack1BallstonSpa@gmail.com

We look forward to hearing from you!

August 7, 2021

Scouts can be wild sometimes, but today they got to meet some real animals.  Otters, kangaroos, zebras, capybaras, tortoises, and all sorts of primates!  Who knew we lived so close to so many exotic animals?  What was your favorite exhibit at the zoo?

Thanks to the staff at Jungleland Experience Zoo in Granville for allowing our Scouts to see such beautiful animals up close! They all had a great time!

July 28, 2021

WOW!  Those of you who were at the Tri-City Valleycats game with Pack 1 tonight sure got to participate in something special!  Cub Scouts from Pack 1 walked out onto the field and presented the colors during the National Anthem and opening ceremony to the baseball game!  We knew there were a lot of people there, but the official attendance for the game was 4,326!  That's over four thousand people who heard the team introduce us over the stadium PA system.

You all looked super sharp in your uniforms, and your presentation was flawless.  You represented Pack 1 and all Cub Scouts everywhere perfectly.  We are all so proud of you, and we hope this is a memory you'll have forever, because it really was a special night.  Great job, Scouts!

June 28, 2021

Did you join us at the Natural Stone Bridge and Caves in Pottersville?  What a cool experience it was for our Scouts to  get out and see a different type of landscape!  Did you know that the Natural Stone Bridge and Caves features the largest marble cave entrance in the Eastern United States?

What was your favorite part of this trip?

Next up:  Baseball with the Tri-City Valleycats!

June 19, 2021

What a fun day our annual Pinewood Derby was!  You guys made some amazing cars, and there were some super tight races!  Stand by for photos!

Thanks to you all for making this challenging year as fantastic as it was.  We can't wait to see you all during some of our summer events, and we're already planning ahead for the fall!

June 7, 2021

Holy cow, Pack 1!  This weekend's spring campout was amazing!  I hope you all had as much as we did!  We could not have asked for better weather.  Be sure to check you and your Scouts for ticks.  They can be super small, so check thoroughly.

Don't forget to check the photo gallery to see new photos.  Special thanks to Sean and Amy D. for their incredible pictures!  They are so talented and we're lucky to have them!

May 29, 2021

Cub Scout Pack 1 was recently invited to get a private tour of an LC-130 Cargo Aircraft currently operating with the 109th Airlift Wing at the Stratton Air National Guard Base.

Our Scouts got an up close and personal look at the awesome airplanes that we see flying overhead all the time.

Special thanks to Sgt. Chris Shorkey, our fearless Lion Den Leader, for arranging this unique opportunity.  The Scouts and families had an awesome experience!

March 14, 2021

Congratulations to Arrow of Light Scouts Ari, Michael, Owen and Colin for completing their Arrow of Light requirements and crossing over into Scouts BSA!

The Arrow of Light is the highest rank possible in Cub Scouting, and it is an achievement to be proud of.  Each Scout received their rank badge, a Scouts BSA troop neckerchief, a Scouts BSA handbook, and a handcrafted arrow mounted on a handmade plaque to display proudly in their homes.

We'd also like to thank each Cub Scout who sold more than $500 in popcorn during our fundraiser this year and earned their way to throw a pie in the face of our Cubmaster, Mr. Kelly!!!

February 6, 2021

We had so much fun ice fishing and sledding at Camp Wakpominee today!  We wish we could have held our annual winter campout, but it was so fun to at least get together in a safe, socially distant way and spend some time outdoors.  We did some ice fishing, sledding,  went on a hike across the frozen lake, and then enjoyed some  delicious hot chocolate!

January 27, 2021

It's LEGO Derby time!  We're running our race virtually this year, but you can always check out the video on our YouTube channel!  You all made amazingly cool cars, and they were so fast!  Did your car bring home one of these awesome trophies?  Watch the video to find out who won!  But always remember - this isn't about winning.  If your car didn't win, see if you can think of ways to make your car faster next year!  You can learn a lot by not winning!

December 22, 2020

Well, we seem to be making it through this crazy year!  Our Den Leaders have been hard at work to try to create the best possible program while also keeping our Scouts and families safe.  They've been doing an outstanding job.

Check out our Webelos den working on their Cast Iron Chef adventure despite three feet of snow on the ground and more falling!

As we enter the holiday season, and start to look forward to putting 2020 behind us,  spend time with your loved ones, and please continue to stay safe, healthy and happy.

We are still working to put together our annual LEGO Derby, so keep an eye on your email for details!  If you did not yet receive your wheel kit, let your den leader know.

Stay warm!

November 8, 2020

What a beautiful afternoon for our first ever Bike and Hike along the Zim Smith Trail! Our Scouts biked and walked a few miles on a gorgeous autumn day.  We could not have planned better weather!

October 26, 2020

Thank you so much to everyone who came out and joined us for our Halloween Spooktacular!  I know that usually we do a super fun Halloween Party, but with COVID, we had to change things up a bit.  It seemed like you all had a really great time!  We also want to send a special thank you to Garth at Ellm's Farm for his generous donations of all of our pumpkins.  As a result, we were able to provide a pumpkin to carve to every single one of you, Scout or sibling.  Thank you Garth!

We'd also like to thank all of you who have been busy participating in our Popcorn fundraiser.  You guys are doing an amazing job!

We are hard at work releasing our next issue of the Pack 1 Press, so be sure to check that out when it gets published.  If anyone is interested in joining our Newsletter team, just let us know!

We hope you're all well and we're looking forward to another year of fun!

OCTOBER, 2020

Helloooo Pack 1!  It has felt so amazing to be getting back to Scouting things, even if much of it is virtual.  I have seen a few of you here and there and I know you're also excited.

We are in the middle of our popcorn fundraiser, and your Scouts are doing such a great job.  Keep up the good work.  Your efforts directly help us provide the best possible program for our Scouts, and we can not thank you enough.

Be sure to check your emails.  We have sent out information regarding safe, socially distanced, outdoor den meetings so we can start to try to get back to some degree of normalcy.  We are looking at adding a whole bunch of new Scouts, across all of the ranks, so if you're considering joining us in Pack 1, please consider checking out a den meeting and seeing if we're a good fit.  Our Halloween Spooktacular will take place on Sunday, October 25th, and our Bike Hike will be held on Sunday, November 1st.  Information has been sent to your email, but if you need more information, feel free to contact us.

Another reminder - any Scout, prospective or existing, who registers and pays their registration fee by November 1st will receive a FREE Pack 1 activities T-shirt (while supplies last).

We do also have two events coming up.  Please see the informational flyers on the EVENTS page of our website.  Be sure to RSVP by October 17th in order to ensure that you receive your pumpkin for pumpkin carving!

SEPTEMBER, 2020

We're baaaack!  I know when things started to shut down back in March, none of us knew what was headed our way.  It's been a long six months, but the Scouts and Scouters of Pack 1 are back in business and we welcome you to the completely re-designed website.

We're doing things a little differently, for now at least, and having many of our events virtually, but our enthusiasm and dedication remains the same.

Be sure to check our our Virtual Campout and Open House on Friday, September 25th through Saturday, September 26th.  We are building an itinerary fully of games, craft projects, video demonstrations and presentations that you and your Scout can follow along with from the comfort of your own home.

Don't want to camp out?  Build a pillow or blanket fort in the house and join the fun that way!

Watch your email!  More details to follow!
